"Serial number 1617308. Made in May 1943 with a May 1943 dated 24-inch Springfield barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Equipped with a radius cut SA operating rod, a milled trigger guard & the Type 2 lockbar adjustable rear sight assembly. Overall condition is excellent with original factory phosphate finish on the metallic parts that shows several different shades of color across the different components. The buttstock is marked with an S.A./G.A.W. acceptance stamp next to a crisp ordnance escutcheon & a circle serif P on the front of the grip. The handguards are matching in color & condition. Comes with a USGI webbed sling.
