Mechanically strong with proper lock up and correct function of ejectors, safety, and triggers. Barrels present an honest field worn finish consistent with age, with clean lines and good integrity. Action retains visible scroll engraving with a pleasing patina. Stock and forend show normal handling marks but remain structurally solid with sharp checkering.
E.M. Reilly & Co. was an established London maker known for building well-appointed sidelock and boxlock guns in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
