Description:
Selling rare and fine Pre-64 Winchester's from a friends personal collection.  This is one of several that will be listed soon.

You are looking at an excellent condition, Pre-War Winchester model 61, Mfg. 1937, caliber 22 short, factory original tapped upper tang with a Lyman L2 tang site; 24" octagon BBL (.217 correct bore diameter), 11 groove fore-end, smooth top receiver, smooth trigger, checkered hammer catch; checkered steel butt plate.

Stock set has the rear stock that looks to have a slight finish added to it, but the 11 groove forearm is factory original.

Additional information on this rifle:
  • Bore is excellent
  • Bluing and walnut wood set in excellent shape, very few handling marks
  • Receiver is in great condition.
A wonderful Pre-War Winchester to add to any Winchester collection.   This rifle was manufactured in 1937.
