Description:
Serial #25889, 9mm Largo (9x23mm), 6" barrel with a very good, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome pistol that has matching numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel. The metal retains about 97-98% of an armory reblued finish over some scattered small patches of pinprick pitting and minor handling marks. The original markings are still quite crisp and legible, and there are US import marks present on the rear of the frame. The barrel and safety switch are predominantly gray, with some mottling starting to form on each. The checkered wooden grips are in good shape, with minor handling marks and blemishes on either side, as well as flattening to the points on either panel. One of the grip screws is a replacement. The pistol is housed in an original black leather Spanish flap holster with two magazines. No cleaning rod is present in the rear pocket. This is a very good example of a large frame "water pistol" Astra, and would make a neat addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
