Joslyn 1864 Civil War Saddle Ring Carbine 52 cal Rimfire, Bore shiny Exc, Mech Exc tight crisp lock. Wood is VG original with 2 cartouche on the left side Exc, Has inspector initials W in a couple places and FDL marked on the left side of the barrel ahead of the receiver also has a marking ahead of the buttplate on top in the wood and US on the buttplate. Has a 22” Rd barrel with original sights and has one barrel band. The lockplate has the address Joslyn Firearms Co Stonington Conn 1864 markings. The top latch has the serial#7631 total production was 16,500. Has the original saddle ring on the left side. Metal overall has a brown patina finish .
