Winchester Model 1873 saddle ring carbine in caliber 32 WCF aka 32-20, very scarce caliber for a carbine, with all typical carbine features: 20" round barrel with post front sight, ladder rear sight, plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, carbine butt correctly lacking the trap door as typical for the 32 caliber, blued and case hardened finish, saddle ring with staple on left side of receiver. Cody verification (not pictured but will be included) shows serial number applied Jan. 4, 1889, warehoused Feb. 26, 1889, and shipped March 1st, 1889 to order number 18533.

CONDITION: All metal surfaces retain 50% original finish that has turned a dark patina. Front sight blade replaced, rear sight original. Action is crisp with a strong hammer spring and properly working half cock safety. Stocks exhibit expected nicks and dings with slight wear but no major damage or abuse, never cleaned or sanded. Mag tube is tight with no wobble. Bore is very good, a 7 of 10, with some wear and very light scattered black powder fouling but no rings or bulges, way above average for this caliber and model, should spin a bullet fine. Overall grades NRA Antique Very Good and is a scarce variation in better than average condition to add to your Winchester collection.

TERMS: Antique so it can ship directly to you assuming your local laws allow it. New York State buyers must have the item ship to an FFL dealer only, no C&R. 3 day non-firing inspection. Buyer pays return shipping. Payment by personal check, bank check, or USPS money order only, sorry no credit cards, no electronic payments. Have a competent gunsmith give it a clean bill of health before using as it has not been test-fired. Packed with great care to survive the trip. Ships by FedEx Ground with tracking.
