Iver Johnson and Cycle Works, WW2 WWII Military Gunnery Trainer Shotgun not Trench or Riot.
Mfg. by Iver Johson and Cycle Works before they changed their name to just Iver Johnson.
Selling a like new condition Iver Johnson & Cycle Works single shot model “Champion” that was made for the military during WWII.
The condition of this military trainer shotgun is absolutely unbelievable and 100% factory original. You can see this from the pictures. No rust, no pitting, not marks in the wood, beautiful piece.
The original case hardening on the receiver is beautiful, perfect and still has factory applied lacquer type finish remaining.
The shotgun is so marked “U.S,” with the proper flaming bomb on the left side of the receiver (see pics).
Have spoken to several military shotgun collectors and this particular military trainer shotgun is seldom seen or found. It was actually manufactured when Iver Johnson was still Iver Johson & Cycle Works.
Perfect condition, rare military gunnery trainer shotgun for your collection. You will not be able to improve upon this shotgun.
