Capacity: Full-size models typically have a 10+1 round capacity (or 10 rounds for state-compliant versions), while the M&P 45 Shield compact version holds 6+1 or 7+1 rounds with an extended magazine. Grip: Features an aggressively textured polymer grip with four interchangeable palmswell inserts (S, M, ML, L) to optimize hand fit and trigger reach. Barrel and Finish: The barrel and slide are made from stainless steel and treated with a durable, corrosion-resistant Armornite® finish. Sights: Equipped with steel three-dot sights (white-dot front and white 2-dot rear, or night sights depending on the model) which are adjustable for windage.
