Legendary pistolsmith, Jim Clark Sr. has converted what began as a .38 Super to .38 Special Wadcutter, modified the trigger guard and dust cover to accept match weights, and added frame stippling and a wide, overtravel adjustable adjustable trigger. Sighting consists of a Bo-Mar adjustable rear and a cantilevered front post for greater sight radius than the average gov't length 1911 affords. This piece dates to 1977. .38 Special
