"Serial No. 15262, manufactured in 1899, chambered in 6mm Lee Navy with a 28"" round barrel. The bore is good, showing light frosting in the grooves while retaining strong, well-defined rifling. Metal finish has begun to thin to a light grey patina, though factory markings on the receiver remain sharp and fully legible. The stock has been lightly refurbished and remains in very good overall condition with only minor handling evidence noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid and representative example of the short-lived but historically significant Lee Navy rifle—an important piece for U.S. military and Winchester collectors alike.
