Brand new Rigby Big Game, chambered in .375 H&H, featuring color case hardened bottom metal with "Calibre .375 H&H" in 24k gold-inlaid old English script. The trap door grip cap is color cased to match, with Rigby's double-R logo inlaid in 24k gold. The recoil bar (cross bolt) and pins (action screws) are nitre blued and engraved with the Tudor rose. The stock is made from a beautiful piece of Grade 7 Turkish walnut with excellent grain structure in the critical areas. The double square bridge action is compatible with Recknagle swing-off scope rings which return to zero when the scope is removed, for example, to enable express sight usage.

The trigger is a modern style steel unit exhibiting a very crisp pull, averaging 3.5 lbs. The safety is a svelte Winchester 70-style 3-position for perfect scope clearance. The cold hammer forged barrel bears island mounted express sights, one standing leaf and two folding leaves at rear with beaded blade at front protected by a traditional hood. Barrel band front sling mount and matching mount on toe line of stock accommodate a traditional 1” leather sling. Magazine floorplate opens with a traditional trigger guard-mounted Oberndorf release. Trigger guard bears serial number per tradition. The stock is closely modeled after original prewar Rigby sporters, and is a faithful rendition thereof. The recoil pad is traditionally red with Silvers-style rubber construction.
