Description: General Specs: Browning, 1962, 20 Gauge, 6lbs, 5oz., Chokes M/F, LOP 14 1/4", DAH 2 1/4", DAC 1 3/8" Serial Number: 24134 I’ve looked over every nook and cranny of this incredible deep chiseled engraving to identify an engraver’s signature and can’t find one. Also, I often can’t see the ketchup in the fridge only for my wife to walk up and pull it out of the door right in front of me, anyway, so maybe you’ll have more luck than me. If I were the engraver, I would want the world to know my name; I’m sure you would too. The beauty of collecting these fine firearms is that while they are “production” guns, they are built by craftsmen each with their own gift, every piece of wood has its own hue and grain pattern, and in this case, the metal work has been upgraded with incredible care and detail to show off game scenes on each side, a grouse in flight on the bottom of the receiver, all surrounded by intricate floral details. This wood of the gun is nicely checkered in a point pattern with double borders. The barrels have mirror bores, with a few light handling marks in the finish, and a ventilated rib with silver front bead. Don’t overthink it; this gun is a looker, go shoot it and have some fun!
