Description:
In the Husqvarna catalog, this rifle is the No. 2. This should not be confused with Remington designations. It is a fullstocked commercial rifle in 12.7x44R (similar to .50-70). Cases easily made from shortened .50 Alaskan brass. You will need to slug bore or do a chamber cast to determine optimal length and bullet diameter. It has a 31.25" round barrel with excellent bore. Finish shows wear, but no rust. The rear sight has a broken leaf. Correct replacement included. Needs some minor file work to fit. I believe that the stock is Arctic Birch. Has some nice figure and is in very good plus condition. Horn nosecap. Has irs original cleaning rod with horn tip, which is rare. LOP is 13.75". Rifle weighs about 8.7 lbs. Very hard to find rifle in US. $1200 + Shipping.
