Description: We are pleased to offer this fine old Civil War-era Spencer Military Carbine. Chambered in the .56-52 Spencer Rimfire cartridge, this piece was historically significant for many reasons. It was one of the earliest repeating rifles that saw action in the Civil War, providing an advantage to Federal troops over single shot muskets. This Spencer had several innovative designs including the buttstock loading tubular magazine, distinctive lever-action falling breechblock, saddle loop, rear ladder sight and carbine-length forearm. This rifle proved to be accurate and dependable as well giving its troops a tremendous technological edge. Overall, this piece is graded as Good Condition and still retains its mechanical functionality even though it was manufactured circa 1860. 56-50 Price: $3,749.99 Antique: Yes Metal Condition: Good Wood Condition: Good Bore Condition: Good Barrels: 22 Triggers: Smooth Faced Weight: 8 lb - 6 oz Item Location: Louisville, KY |
