Brand new 250th Anniversary edition Rigby Big Game, chambered in .416 Rigby. The floorplate features John Rigby's signature in white gold with the 250th seal, edition number, and caliber all inlaid in 24k yellow gold. The trigger guard bears the serial number inlaid in 24k yellow gold in the traditional style. Wood is grade 7 with excellent figure yet strong grain structure where it matters. The double square bridge action is compatible with Recknagle swing-off scope rings which return to zero when the is removed, for example, to enable express sight usage.

The trigger is a modern style steel unit exhibiting a very crisp pull, averaging 3.5 lbs. The safety is a svelte Winchester 70-style 3-position for perfect scope clearance. The cold hammer forged barrel bears island mounted express sights, one standing leaf and two folding leaves at rear with beaded blade at front protected by a traditional hood. Barrel band front sling mount and matching mount on toe line of stock accommodate a traditional 1” leather sling. Magazine floorplate opens with a traditional trigger guard-mounted Oberndorf release. The stock is closely modeled after original prewar Rigby sporters, and is a faithful rendition thereof. The recoil pad is traditionally red with Silvers-style rubber construction.
