These rifles were produced in limited numbers before the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, with the LBD Serial Numbered rifles series being quite small.
This is the \"Heavy barrel\" carbine model and is barrel stamped “C P 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR" making it the known as the most accurate \"Off the shelf\" Colt chrome-lined, NATO chambered AR-15 barrel ever tested.
