Description:
1899 Savage in .300 Savage. Manufactured in the mid 1950's. 24" barrel retains 85-90% blue. The barrel shows normal handling marks, scratches, scrapes, and usuage. Correct front and rear sights. I will rate the bore an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver retains 80 to 85% of its blue, fading somewhat on the belly of the receiver. Both forend and buttstock are in nice condition. Checkering is nice and wood is still proud (higher than the metal). Great case colors still showing on the lever. Correct Savage buttplate. Well above average 99 Savage offered at an extremely fair price. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. I will consider trades and offer a layaway (contact me for full details).
