A U.S. Civil War Military Issued Sharps Model 1863 Rifle In Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial #C34,192 with all matching numbers throughout. All original and complete including the sights. The rifle has excellent original metal and Sharp's Markings throughout with very crisp edges. It is fully U.S. Sub Inspected throughout. The barrel retains all of its original factory blue throughout it. The frame, breech, lever, top and lower tangs, barrel bands, and butt plate all retain nice original factory case colors on them with some spots darkening. All of the wood on the carbine is excellent throughout with crisp edges and an excellent even color to it. It has two very clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches on the backside of the wood opposite the lock. The carbine has an excelllent bright bore and action in it. This is An Excellent Original Example Of An Early U.S. Civil War U.S. Military Issued Sharps Model 1863 Rifle That Would Be A Wonderful Addition To Any Fine Collection!
