The Smith & Wesson Performance Center 5906 PC-9 (170030) is a rare and highly collectible firearm, part of the compact “Shorty 9” run produced for Lew Horton Distributing between late 1993 and 1994. With a confirmed production total of only 611 pistols under product code 170030 and alpha prefix PCV, this Performance Center variant stands out as one of the more elusive factory-customized S&W 5906 derivatives ever offered. This one comes with the Performance Center case and original paperwork, including the original case sticker that has come off of the case but is in perfect condition inside with the other literature.
This pistol is very nice but does show a little wear on the sharp edges of the slide. There is a slight spec on the left side of the slide about an inch from the front. This can be seen in the pictures.
