This FN Belgian Sweet Sixteen Auto 5 is special in that 1947 was the first year that the 16ga was chambered in 2 3/4" and it is also the last year that "Sweet Sixteen" is not enscribed on the left side of the receiver. This bueaty also represents the first year of the revered "X series" serial numbers that ran from 1947-1953. The wood on this Automatic 5 shows very nicely and the bluing is also very good. This is just a great, classic shotgun from a historic time of FN Belgian production. Featuring both a gold trigger and a gold safety, this Browning A5 has a FULL choke 28" barrel and is ready for all your live and clay bird needs.
