Description:
24 inch half octagon barrel. Button magazine. Beech's combination folding front sight, original buckhorn rear and a Lyman No. 1 combination tang sight. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock. Crescent rifle buttplate with trapdoor. Very good condition overall showing about 60% blue with handling marks and finish thinning at the edges and carry point starting to turn slightly brown. Sides of hammer and lever show some faintly visible case colors. Forearm shows light wear with few handling marks. buttstock shows scattered handling marks, with areas of crazed finish. Sound action. Bore is bright with strong rifling showing small spots of very light pitting. Manufactured in 1886.
