A used cased W&C Scott “The Kinmount” side by side 28 bore ejector gun with 26” barrels. The gun is choked skeet and modified. The length of pull is 14 ½” over a checkered butt.

Straight hand grip, single trigger, Anson & Deeley boxlock, auto-safety, plain concave game rib with a single front brass bead, beaded trigger guard, checkered wrist and splinter forend with mullered borders, push button Anson forend release, and a vacant silver oval. The barrels read “W.&C. SCOTT GUNMAKER’S” and “BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND”. The underside of the action reads “THE KINMOUNT”. The gun is housed in a maker’s canvas case with burgundy baize, makers label, two-piece cleaning rod, snap caps, oil bottles, two keys, unused leather straps, cleaning patches, jag, mop, and a brass brush. Circa 1978 Birmingham proofed gun with 2 ¾” chambers.

Scroll engraving with game scene vignettes. A flushing snipe with a setter on point on the right side and flushing a quail with pointer making a retrieve on the left side of the action. Case color hardened action and blued furniture. Most all case colors remain. Well figured straight grained walnut stock. The gun remains in excellent and original condition. Excellent bores and bluing on barrels. Clean and crisp checkering. The gun has hardly seen any field use with the only discernable wear being the scratches on the stock, mostly between the oval and the toe, due to poor storage. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
