2 5/8” chambers. Gun was made in 1913 for Italian royalty with a coat of arms on the escutcheon. This gun has an extremely unusual engraving with floral foliate and tendrils with tiny filigree pattern and deep chiseled breeches. Although this gun was made in 1913, it remains not refinished and unused. It has virtually all of the case color, barrel blue, and wood finish although the finish has dried out. It has a new leather covered pad, perfect screws, perfect checkering, perfect barrel blue, perfect case coloring. Originally one of a pair. Marked Royal Hammerless Ejector. Very highly finished Turkish walnut stock with minimal cast off. This gun is tight and on face just as the day it was made. Perfect ejector timing, small front bead, 0.025 wall thickness in each barrel. Factory lettered included. Non-detachable lock. Special order gun with third fastener and a single trigger. Nitro proofed at 1-1/8 oz. We have the factory historian paperwork on the gun from Holland & Holland. An outstanding non-refinished gun that is about the highest quality Holland we have ever owned. Splinter forend. It is a superb work of art that is untouched in its period case. This is a dream gun; you are basically buying a new gun from 1913. The workmanship on this gun cannot be duplicated. No excuses, just perfection. Outstanding in every way. Case has a Holland & Holland label and is in fair condition.
