A good looking and well working, with the action is firm and the lockplate has been wiped clean, possibly confederate use. With alaso sao barrel proofs either.Lock mainspring is very strong and the nipple looks like it would fire.Top of barrel has JD? 1806?. This smooth bire saw lots of action as the beginning of the Civel War. and walnuyt stock has fiedl dings too. Comes with an iron trumpet ram~rod.
