Here's my Browning BPR-22 Magnum, chambered in .22 Mag, made in Japan. This is a pump-action rifle, with a mag tube, and is working perfectly, I shot my last few rounds of .22 Mag through it last month, no issues!
I inherited this rifle, alongside many others. But .22 Magnum isn't a round I'm particularly fond of, nor do I stock it in my supply.
Doing some research, this appears to be late 70's to early 80's, although I'm not entirely sure on the exact date (feel free to use the serial # to do your own research).
These RARELY come up for sale. Almost all examples I've seen were .22lr, which is more common and less valuable. That being said, I am not a collector or a .22 Magnum shooter, so my knowledge is limited. All I hope for is to get a fair value out of this piece, and invest in something I can hand down (and maybe shoot more than I do this). This piece has magnificently polished wood furniture, a rust-free blued finish, and an unbent mag tube, just gorgeous. This is in FAR better condition than the other listed example on here.
On top is mounted a "Bushnell Sportview" Scope, not sure what that entails, but there it is.
If I had to rate the condition of this, I'd call it 8.5/10 due to minor scuffs/dings. But, there's no rust or actual damage that I can find.
I absolutely baby all of my guns, I do not tolerate rust, dust, or a fuss. If something is dirty, broken, dry, or not working at it's maximum potential I address it. You won't waste your time with me or what I have on offer, I'm a no-BS "let's get this over with" kind of guy.
