Despite some lightg scratches (the most noticiable is a vertical one on the left side of the butt stock and a little lite scale on the receiver this is still a nice looking and well preseved example of these iconic Nylon 22's At one time avail in lever (scarce) ...bolt action (not common ) and these ...semi auto. More commonly found with a clip type magazine this one is the less common and more desirable tube fed (loads from the butt stock) and probably holds 14 or more 22 long rifle shells.
It is said that these were sometimes carried by trappers in Ak as they were supposed to function well in extreme cold..but this is not verified
This ia nearly (pre 1968...no ser #) variation . Bonus ...it comes with a Weaver 4c .22 scope. These were not excellent scopes and most we see are comprimised however this one remains clear , bright and usable.
It is likely that this is like one you had or wanted to have in you're youth....Cant get the years back but can get the gun !
