CUSTOM ORDERED C. SHARPS 1885 HIGHWALL IN .45-70. This rifle was completed in December 2023 and appears unused in the original box with paperwork/factory test target etc. It features a 30” standard half-octagon barrel without rear sight dovetail, single set trigger, pistol grip butt stock with curved schnable pistol grip bottom, cheek piece with accent line, checkered color case hardened steel shotgun butt plate, schnable forend tip, straight grained walnut in the butt stock with some figure in the forend, 13 ¾” length of pull, tang sight with windage and elevation adjustments and fitted with one standard eye disc and one Hadley adjustable aperture eye disc, front sight is a globe with spirit level with inserts. Weighs about 10 ¼ lbs. Catalog price for this beautiful rifle would be over $3700 with considerable build and delivery time. Perfect for target shooting, recreational shooting or hunting.
