C&R or FFL REQUIRED.. (Lighting makes receiver look like brass, but it's a dovr gray.).30-30. 20" barrel. SN: 1025349 (mfg. ca. 1927). Blued finish, steel furniture, smooth walnut stock with carbine butt and smooth forend with single barrel band. Lever action tubular magazine fed rifle with folding leaf rear sight, dovetailed tall blade front sight and saddle ring on reverse of receiver. Standard markings and Winchester proof marks
CONDITION:
About Fine.. Bore very good+, mostly dull and moderately oxidized with even light pitting along its entire length and good rifling. Metal with some old added blue that has thinned and worn, giving the metal a streaky dull grayish blue appearance. Markings remain clear. Nice mechanically functional action. Wood lightly sanded at one time, with minor scattered light bumps, dings.
