High Standard Sport King First Model, .22 Long Rifle. This is one of the "Lever - Name" series and dates to about 1950. Fully functional and looks very good for its age. Bright bore. The breech shows no evidence of dry-firing that would require repair or interfere with function. Magazine floorplate is marked "Hi-Standard". Bluing on the grip straps is thinning pretty uniformly toward a grey patina. There is minor loss of finish on high points and edges. Magazine floorplate shows loss of finish. Test fired with CCI standard velocity ammo. This would make a nice 75 year old shooter.
