Description: Beretta LARAMIE - S&W New Model No. 3 Schofield Clone - .45 Colt Introduced in 1878, Smith & Wesson's New Model No.3 was S & W perfected single action top break revolver; more New Model No.3s were made than Colt Single Action Armies during the 19th century, the majority however went to foreign military contracts.  This Beretta/Uberti is one of the last specimens of a joint effort by the two best names in Italian gunnery. Finished in bright and shinny blue with case-hardened hammer and trigger guard. The barrel is 6-1/2 inch in length, with a six shot cylinder, chambered for .45 Colt. The grips are high gloss Italian Walnut with Beretta Gold toned medallion. There will be no more of these as Beretta USA and Uberti have dissolved their brief partnership. Like the USFA single action revolvers, these are extremely collectable and their value will certainly continue to rise. Sale includes original box and hangtag, and owners manual for Beretta's other single-action revolver - STAMPEDE. According to the serial number, this is the 10th one made.
