Description:
Manufactured in the late 1860's by Bacon Manufacturing Co. with a production run of approximately 800, this is a highly uncommon and well made pocket pistol. Marked 498 on the back of the cylinder, this would have been about half way through production. Overall condition is good to very good with no obvious pitting, though it appears that the entire surface has been stripped to white. Action functions and timing indexing appears good.
