Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 27 is a six-shot, double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge and manufactured by Smith & Wesson. It was first produced in 1935, and many versions of it are still in production today. The Model 27 was built on S&W's carbon steel, large N-frame, had adjustable sights, and was available with various barrel lengths. The 27-3 first appeared in 1982 when they eliminated the cylinder counterbore and pinned barrel, changed cylinder length to 1.57". This example is still in great shape with little wear. .357 Magnum
