Production of this firearm began in 1999 and continued until 2006. It was part of a tactical series designed for law enforcement and civilian use, featuring specific enhancements for performance and durability during that period. Midsize version of the Third Generation single-stack model 4506. Features a shortened barrel and slide on a full size frame. This is the tactical version (TSW) equipped with an accessory rail.
