Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 27 is a six-shot, double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge and manufactured by Smith & Wesson. It was first produced in 1935, and many versions of it are still in production today. The Model 27 was built on S&W's carbon steel, large N-frame, had adjustable sights, and was available with various barrel lengths. The Model 27-2 first appeared in 1961 and in 1969 they changed to N serial prefix (this is s/n N785200). This example sports Pachmayr grips and a Burris scope. Still a nice looking revolver after 50+ years. .357 Magnum
