Description:

Libero Ferraglio (FERLIB) consecutively numbered pair of 20 gauge shotguns. These are a consecutively numbered pair but not a matched pair as they have slightly different barrel lengtths and engraving patterns. Both were built in 1992 and imported by New England Custom Guns of Kittery Point Maine. Both are extensively engraved with floral and scroll as well as Bulino gold inlay gamebird scenes by Armando Piardi of the famous Creative Arts engraving studio. Both have vent rib ejector barrels with silver front beads. Both with single nonselective triggers with checkered faces. Both stocked in nicely figured Turkish Walnut straight grip stocks with schnabel forends and 28 LPI checkering. Both guns are tight and on face with levers to the right and show very minimal use.

Gun #1
 Barrels are 26 7/8"  IC/M. LOP is 14 5/8" to a checkered butt.  DAC- 1 7/16"  DAH-2 3/8"
Cast off  3/16"    Weight is 6lb 3oz.  Engraved with a Quail on the left and right and a Woodcock   on the bottom.

Gun #2
Barrels are 28" IC/M.  LOP 14 5/8" to a checkered butt.   DAC-1 7/16"  DAH-2 3/8"  Cast off   3/16"   Weight-6lb 2oz.  Engraved with a Mallard on the left, a Pheasant on the right, and a   Woodcock on the bottom.

FERLIB is derived from the first three letters of the last name and first three letters of the first name of Libero Ferraglio, the maker of these fine hand made guns. Almost all of his limited production made only on order in his small shop in the gunmaking center Gardone, Val Trompia, Italy from the late 1940's until 2005. These guns are in nearly new condition with only the slightest of handling marks. Mechanics are excellent. The engraving is superb with breathtaking detail in the gold inlayed birds with no two alike. Cased in an Americase two gun case. Italian craftsmanship at its finest! I would seperate at $9500 each.
