This collector‚s piece is a nickel and gold plated replica of a Remington 1858 Army model. The design was based on a display revolver given to Major General George Meade sometime after his victory at Gettysbuyrg. Manufactured in Italy by F. LLI Pietta, this is a six-shot, blackpowder .44 cap & ball revolver with an 8\" octagonal barrel, cased in a nicely crafted, lined, wooden box.
