33119-PRE-WW2 BERETTA JAPANESE TYPE 1 CONTRACT 6.5X50 (ARISAKA) INFANTRY RIFLE. 30” barrel with original brass two-piece muzzle cover. Scarce contract with only approximately 15,000 made by Beretta in Italy for the Imperial Japanese Army before WW2. Excellent example and all original with no import marks. Other than Beretta’s “PB” inspection stamps and the serial number on the receiver unmarked(“PB” under sight as well). Exceptional 99% original condition with nearly all the blue and wood finish. Perfect working order and mint bore. Superior example and scarce. $950.
