This is a 1st model , 1st variation, produced for only 4 years from 1899- 1903 Serial number 56598.

Condition: 3” raised rib barrel with a very good bright bore with strong rifling. Front and rear fixed sights.
The metal surfaces retain about 95% of the original nickel finish showing scattered handling marks and edge wear. Strong blued components on Trigger guard.
The original hard rubber checkered grips include the H&R target logo with a rosette around the screw escutcheons. The grips are scratched numbered to the gun and are in excellent condition showing just light handling marks.
All the correct parts, barrel, cylinder, ejector, and frame are serialized to the gun. All barrel markings are clear and legible. Barrel to frame fit is tight and mechanically works excellent with very good timing and lock-up
