33124- WW2 WWII JAPANESE KYU-GUNTO CAVALRY OFFICER’S SWORD AND SCABBARD. 45” o/a with 39” blade. Extra long high grade sword for a Company Grade Cavalry Officer. Additionally it bears the officer’s family “mon” round metal inlay of a bird’s head on the grip backstrap. Excellent overall with the original grip wire and finish on blade. Scabbard very good with old patina. $550.
