Most double gun enthusiasts are aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21; a gun of superior strength and mechanical genius created under the micromanagement of John Olin himself.  From 1930 to 1980 they only made about 2900 twenty-gauge guns in all grades, most of them weighing well over 6 3/4lbs., many over 7lbs.  To find a Model 21 20ga. that weighs just 6lbs. 7oz. is an event.  Anybody who walks long distances in the field appreciates a lighter gun by the end of the day.  Model 21’s are fully capable of shooting the most powerful loads available, SO IF YOU LIKE MAGNUM LOADS FOR PHEASANTS, DUCKS, OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS YOUR GUN.  This Model 21, sn14133, shows incredible workmanship and desirable features rarely found in other M21 guns.  The combination of single selective trigger, ejectors, and beavertail forend are common features.  Having a light weight of 6lbs. 7oz., a factory straight grip, and still retaining the original checkered butt sets this gun apart from most that are heavy and wearing an aftermarket butt pad.  The SK1 and SK2 (SK2 has .010 constriction, slightly tighter than Improved Cylinder) chokes, English grip, and lightweight make this Model 21 THE ULTIMATE UPLAND BIRD GUN.  And of course, she will be spectacular at the clays course as well.  See the specifications below.  The gun is in beautiful condition with 98% factory blue remaining on the metal and an exceptionally well-done hand-rubbed oil finish on the stock and forend.  The double-bordered point checkering is sharp and clean, with only a small blemish at the base of the forend escutcheon.  The walnut selected for this gun has very nice flowing grain with gorgeous quilt overlay.
This gun is a showstopper that is ready to go afield.  Thanks for looking!
