Description:
Colt Commando, .38 Special. Built in 1942, this has the proper brown Coltwood grips and the 4″ barrel. There is a US Flaming Bomb proof on the left side, and some minor scuffs on the butt. This retains a strong 99% phosphate finish and the bore is Mint. The Colt factory archive letter indicate that this was shipped to the American Coils Spring Company in Muskegon Michigan.
