Description:
Remington Model 550-1 Semi - Auto .22 Rifle - Smooth one piece pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate. Power piston floating chamber design. 24 In. barrel with open rear adjustable sight and a front bead sight and refector shield not shown . Tubular magazine will accept 20 Short , 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a new Optima 4x32 Compact scope with see - thru scope rings. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver are retaining 100 % original bluing. Stock and forend are in excellant condition with minimal handling marks . New soft sleeve included. Overall condion is excellent . Rifle does not appear to have had much use. Manufactured from 1941 to 1971. This one was manufactured in 1968. Exceptional condition for it's age. Known for its accuracy and reliability.
