Description:
This is a custom made 45 caliber mule ear percussion rifle. It is a very attracive mix of styles in a rarely seen action type today. The Rifle was built using a Kibler Southern Mountain Rifle barrel/tang and half stock as a starting point. The barrel is 36" long with a soldered under rib and pipes. The buttplate, cap pox and trigger guard are custom fitted/modified brass pieces. The lock is an L&R. The set triggers are Kibler parts. The nose cap is poured pewter. The extra fancy maple stock is darkened with aqua fortis stain and finished with oil. The steel is grayed and the polished brass has toned down to a nice look since being built. The lock is case colored. It weighs in at just over 5.5 lbs. It is rifled for shooting patched round balls. The rifle will ship to you with a copy of your Photo ID and shipping is included in the price.
