Chokes FL/FL, LOP 14 1/16", DAH 3 9/16", DAC 1 15/16" Serial Number: 59961 At Vintage Firearms we love the idea of these amazing, capable guns heading out to the clays course, and into the field to be used the way they were meant to be. The Damascus steel barrels on this gun are hearty and strong with 95% pattern and very few blemishes, with tight ribs and a silver front bead. The action is tight on hinge and locks up tight on the breech face with the lever centered. The screws are excellent and mechanically the double triggers, auto-safety, extractors function properly. The receiver has 40% factory case color that is fading to a handsome patina. The forend and round knob pistol grip have point-pattern checkering with double borders. The wood overall has nice figure, some chips and scratches that I’m sure have some good stories behind them, and a widow’s peak Parker Brothers butt plate. Built in 1889, by great American craftsman, this solid gun is ready for many more years hunting waterfowl or turkeys. Put it to good use!
