Savage Arms is an American gunmaker based in Westfield, Massachusetts, with operations in both the United States and Canada. The Model 116 has a 22-inch stainless steel barrel and a stainless action. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting a scope. The stock is a black polymer and the bolt hand is oversized so that it can be used while wearing gloves.
