This is a nice Number 1 Ruger in .22-250 Remington Caliber. It has a Weaver K-10 - 60B 10 power scope that was made in the USA. The .22-250 was THE bench reast caliber in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Remington took it into thier inventory as the did with a number of popular wildcats. This one of the best varmit calibers ever made. It has high velosity, excellent accuracy and will get the job done at 300 + yards on small critters. It has a 24 inch heavy barrel with target scope mounts. It has nice wood. Something that Ruger no longer dose. It was made in 1974 and has the red butt pad. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. It has some dings and scratches from honest use.
