The Raven Arms MP-25 is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in .25 ACP (6.35 mm Browning) that was manufactured in the United States from circa 1970 until 1991 by Raven Arms. It was one of the earliest U.S. domestic responses to the Gun Control Act of 1968, which restricted importation of inexpensive small handguns — opening a market for locally made, budget pocket guns.
Raven Arms, founded by George Jennings, produced the MP-25 in large quantities over two decades and became known as one of the original “Ring of Fire" companies — a term for manufacturers making low-cost “Saturday night special" type pistols.
