For your consideration. A rare, seldom seen, complete WW11, Normandy
captured bring back, German, Mauser, P38 and belt buckle rig. The rig / set includes: An SS marked belt buckle with matching belt catch. Mauser, BYF 42, P38,serial number, 72xx, with 2 Waffenampt marked 359 clips. This P38 is an early example with black grips. Excellent mechanically. All features function as they should. The bore is excellent, mirror bright, without any pitting. The holster is Waffenampt marked, P38,1942
An estate item. The belt came in first . Took us months to get the rest of the set. I am still trying to get more factual information. So far we know this rig was captured by a member of the 51 st field hospital unit. This unit had the first field hospital operating in Normandy, on Utah beach. A rare seldom seen complete SS, P38, Normandy captured rig for your collection.
