This revolver features an 8.5-inch custom barrel, weighs approximately 3 pounds, and carries a six-round capacity, remaining in excellent condition. Most significantly, this handgun is one of two of the very first Colt revolvers ever customized by Hamilton Bowen. Bowen's work on this revolver includes a custom barrel and an unfluted cylinder, marking the beginning of what would become one of the most respected names in custom revolver craftsmanship. With direct provenance to John Taffin and documented early work by Hamilton Bowen, this revolver is not only a collectible firearm but a cornerstone piece of six-gun history—a rare opportunity to own a true Taffin-collection revolver with foundational Bowen provenance.
