Description:

Colt Government, .45acp. Built in 1941 this was shipped to the department of Defense in Mexico. This has a non factory inscription “1st Lt. Albert Wertheim-A.U.S.-To-Maj. Gen. Henry J.F. Miller” on the forward top of the slide, and #0-444080 on the rear portion of the slide. This has checkered walnut grips, and all correct small parts. This retains about 50% blue and the bore is excellent. The Colt Archive letter is included along with some history on Major-General along with a copy of the Richie Boys Secrets book for which he was a member of the Counter intelligence group known as the Richie Boys.
